    TigerTooth Severe Service Control Valve Trim

    When installed in a globe-style control valve, TigerTooth trim effectively reduces sound pressure levels by up to 30 dBA and eliminates the damaging effects of cavitation.

     

    It is suitable for both gas and liquid processes with high pressure drop conditions. The trim features highly engineered concentric grooves (or teeth) machined into the face and backside of a series of circular stacked discs, which also act as a seat retainer.

     

    This design allows for a series of sudden contractions and expansions, reducing fluid pressure in steps rather than a large, single pressure drop.
