Mechanical Seal Flowserve

The SL 5000 is a single, balanced, multi-spring, cartridge, pusher seal specifically designed for pulp & paper slurry services. Its unique design maximizes heat dissipation by exposing the seal faces to the pumped product, addressing a common failure point. A special shroud protects the compression springs and rotor drive pin from weepage build-up. The pre-set cartridge design and centering tabs facilitate easy installation.
