Technical Data

  • Precision Control: Machined to a “V” shape for precision flow control
  • Rotary Shaft Sealing: Live-loaded for tight shutoff in both directions
  • Control Range: Ball can be positioned anywhere between 0° and 90° for desired flow rates
  • Flow Capacity: High flow capacity with outstanding repeatability in manufacturing processes

Advantages

  • Straight-through Flow: Efficient design with high-pressure drop capacity
  • Shearing Action: Ideal for controlling steam pressure and temperature, and product mixing
  • Low Maintenance: Solves common issues with globe control valves, such as stem leakage and high maintenance
  • Bubble-tight Shutoff: Ensures tight shutoff with live-loaded stem seals

Industries

  • Industrial and sanitary process control
  • Steam control
  • pH process control
  • Temperature and product mixing control

Applications

  • Steam Control: Solves issues like stem leakage and high maintenance in steam service, providing tight shutoff and precision low flow control.
  • pH Control: Ideal for low flow rates in pH process control loops, allowing solids to pass through larger valve openings.
  • Temperature & Product Mixing Control: Provides quick response to process controllers’ signals with accuracy at both low and high flow demands.
