The PBM Transmitter Isolation Valve is designed to obtain accurate transmitter readings while replacing leaky knife gate valves. This 2-way ball valve features minimal dead space, a positive shut-off, and comes standard with a calibration port, CIP port, 150# flange, and a locking handle.

Specifications

Material: 316 stainless steel construction (body, ball, and trim), with optional materials like Hastelloy, Titanium, 317 stainless, etc.
Port Diameter: Available in 1.0-inch or 2-1/2-inch port diameters
Flange: Tank side flange accommodates both standard ANSI 3-inch 150-lb flange drilling and a 25 to 27-degree offset flange pattern; Instrument side flange drilled to accommodate a standard ANSI 3-inch 150-lb flange drilling
Handle: 1/4 turn manual lockable stainless steel handle
Purge Ports: Four (4) 1/4 inch NPT purge ports, each with a 1/4 inch MNPT plug made from the same material as the valve body
Seat and Seal Material: Reinforced Teflon® with VTFE o-ring

Handle Operation: 90° turn handle for easy open/close
Hardware Configuration: Allows separate bolting of valve to tank and transmitter to valve as an additional safety measure for hazardous media
