    The NAF Trimball represents a new approach to addressing cavitation, erosion, and high noise levels in control valves. The patented design, based on the well-established NAF-Duball ball valve, combines the benefits of an advanced control valve with the simplicity of a ball valve.

     

    It features a ball with zigzag channels offering major control benefits, and a floating ball design that prevents vibrations from being transmitted to the stem and actuator, even at high differential pressures. The NAF Trimball is CE-marked according to Pressure Equipment Directive (PED 97/23/EG) module H, category III.

    Advantages

    • Z-trim reduces noise and cavitation by taking the pressure drop in several steps.
    • Easy-to-service arrangement allows for quick replacement of the ball and seals without removing the stem and actuator.
    • The floating ball design prevents vibration transmission to the stem and actuator.
    • A-trim offers the highest noise reduction for clean media, with a design that opens channels gradually to manage flow.
