    The Prolac HCP-WFI is a high-performance sanitary-grade centrifugal pump specifically designed for pharmaceutical applications.

     

    It ensures compliance with the industry’s highest hygiene standards, ideal for pumping purified water (PW) and water for injection (WFI). Derived from the Prolac HCP pump, the HCP-WFI model integrates key features tailored for pharmaceutical processes, including an enhanced surface finish, certified materials, and optimised drainage and sealing options.

     

    Fully compatible with CIP (Clean-in-Place) and SIP (Steam-in-Place) systems, this pump is a robust, reliable solution for maintaining hygienic conditions while minimising contamination risks.

    Specifications

    • Design: Based on the Prolac HCP model with upgrades for pharmaceutical applications.
    • Surface Finish: Ra < 0.5 μm for all parts in contact with the product.
    • Mechanical Seal: Simple mechanical seal (TuC/SiC) with FDA and USP Class VI certification.

      • Product contact parts: Stainless steel AISI 316L (EN 1.4404).
      • Non-contact parts: Stainless steel AISI 304 (EN 1.4301).
    • O-Rings: FDA and USP Class VI-certified EPDM.
    • Connections: CLAMP OD for hygienic fluid transfer.
    • Drain Port: ½” CLAMP in the pump housing for effective drainage.
