Specifications
- 316 SS wetted parts impregnated with Stellite for high wear resistance
- Jacketed stator housing with SS connections
- Lip seal shaft sealing
- Explosion-proof motors
- Painted base and supports
- Viton elastomers
- Sanitary, tri-clamp connections
Technical Data
- The rotor-stator gap can be adjusted by turning a hand wheel, with an indicator dial to define the gap-setting position, ensuring process repeatability.
- The first mixing zone utilizes sharp stator teeth to mill the fluid, followed by fine serrations that accelerate the fluid between the ultra-smooth, hardened surfaces of the spinning rotor and stator gap.
- Centrifugal forces then impinge the fluid on the stator wall for additional refinement.
Advantages
- The Greerco Colloid Mill’s versatility eliminates the need for costly add-ons, providing a cost-effective solution.
- Easy installation and operation maximize process productivity while reducing costs.
- The time-tested design provides years of continuous operation with minimal maintenance costs.
Industries
The Greerco Colloid Mill is suitable for a wide range of high shear applications across various industries, particularly where precise control and process repeatability are critical. The extensive rental pool allows users to confirm the impact of Greerco High Shear technology on their processes.
