Flowmakers

Flowmakers are utilized in wastewater treatment for nitrification, denitrification, activated sludge treatment, and disinfection tanks. These mixers are also applied in industrial mixing, chlorination tanks, and biogas plant digesters to homogenize, destratify, and prevent the formation of surface hardpans.

The blades, made from plastic material reinforced with fiberglass, can be sized differently to enhance versatility. The AF series flowmakers are specifically used in wastewater treatment for nitrification and denitrification tanks, active sludge treatment, and disinfection applications. They are also employed in industrial mixing, chlorination tanks, and biogas digesters for homogenization and to prevent sludge stratification.

The slow rotational speed of the blades, achieved through a gearbox, makes these Flowmakers ideal for mixing and recirculating, generating currents, and efficiently distributing the oxygen supplied by aeration systems.
