    The ColdFlow Series cryogenic valves by Flowserve are designed with an extended bonnet to protect packing, gaskets, and seals from cryogenic temperatures, ensuring reliable sealing properties even in extreme conditions.

     

    The valves can be equipped with special gaskets and packings for operations at temperatures as low as –69 °C.

     

    Depending on the application, these valves are available with a top entry design for easy maintenance or with a simple extended bonnet attached to the valve body.

    Specifications

    • Temperature Range: Operates at temperatures down to -196 °C / -320 °F.
    • Size Range: DN25 to DN200 (max DN 400/20″), sizes DN 4/6/8/10/15/20/25/32/40/50/65/80/100/125/150.
    • Pressure Ratings: Standard ratings up to PN 40, with special ratings up to PN 500.
    • Materials: Aluminium (3.3547 = AlMg 4.5 Mn) body for max PN63, high-pressure stainless steel bodies.
    • Seat: PCTFE soft seat, seat integrated in valve body (seat dia = nom. dia).
    • Valve Stroke: 40 mm for seat dia 50 and larger.
    • Connections: Weld ends to customer’s specifications or vacuum flanges (e.g., Leibold).

    Technical Data

    • Design: Top entry design with welded extension.
    • Applications: Helium liquefaction and air separation.
    • Temperature Range: Operates at temperatures down to -269 °C or 4 K.
    • Optional Features: Flex plug for DN20 and larger.
    • Seal Type: Bellows seal.
