  • Motor Compatibility: Compatible with standard foot-mounted electric motors ranging from 1 to 75 hp.
  • Materials: Shafts available in carbon steel, 304, and 316 stainless steel; machinable alloys also available.
  • Drive Design: Right-angle gear design with hardened spiral bevel gearing.
  • Bearings: High-capacity tapered roller bearings with a minimum 30,000-hour L10 bearing life.

Technical Data

  • Drive Elements: Right-angle design reduces overhung load and minimizes nozzle reinforcement requirements. Features hardened spiral bevel gearing inspected to AGMA Quality 10 levels.
  • Lubrication: All gears and bearings are splash-lubricated by Chemineer’s exclusive system; double lip seals on the drive shaft prevent oil loss and contaminant infiltration.
  • Reducer Shaft: Extra capacity with a large cross-section minimizes gear misalignment and deflection, enhancing seal life.
  • Construction: Drive housings, support pedestals, and mounting feet are fabricated from steel plate with a catalyzed polyurethane exterior finish for corrosion protection.

Advantages

  • Cost Efficiency: Eliminates the need for long shafts in tall tanks, reducing costs and simplifying design.
  • Installation Flexibility: Compatible with standard motors and features vertical adjusting screws for precise alignment.
  • Rugged Construction: High-tech NC machining and quality inspections ensure durable and reliable performance.
  • Seal Maintenance: Tank shut-off system allows for the replacement of seals without emptying the tank, reducing downtime and maintenance costs.
