The C-CS is a 316L stainless steel (SST) self-contained pressure-reducing regulator, specifically designed for steam control in sanitary biotechnological process piping systems. It is capable of controlling outlet pressures between 10-75 psig (0.69-5.2 Barg), with a maximum inlet pressure of 150 psig (10.3 Barg). This regulator features a dual-guided plug, combining a “winged” guide design above the seat and a “non-wetted” guide above the diaphragm. The angle-style body with a bottom inlet and side outlet allows for self-drainage. The interior of the body is mechanically polished and electro-polished to meet ASME BPE 2012 SF4 standards, while the exterior surfaces are electro-polished. All wetted parts are made of 316L SST and are cleaned according to Cashco Spec. #S-1576. The regulator is available in standard pressure-reducing or vacuum-resistant models, with either a metal or composition seat.
